Hidden with Christ
Oil and mixed media. Substrate has been heavily textured and overlaid with oils and mixed media of colored, light-reflecting elements. Inspired by Colossians 3:1-3 in the Bible where it speaks of the lives of believers being “hidden with Christ in God”. Visual center of painting has jewel-like quality due to the layers of color and metallic elements.
